Workhorse is proud to be an early adopter of the HYROX training philosophy and competitive series. Using official HYROX programming and led by Certified HYROX Performance Coaches, these sessions are designed to build power, muscular endurance, and both anaerobic and aerobic energy systems, while building mental resilience. The training method emphasizes a combination of running and functional movement patterns, offering a challenging yet accessible workout without the complexity of barbell or Olympic lifts. Whether you aspire to compete in official HYROX races, enhance your endurance, or achieve the physique of a high-performance athlete, these intense and addictive classes will help you reach your goals in a fun, supportive training environment.

PROGRAM

  • monday

    Foundational

    An interval-based format focusing on HYROX foundational movement patterns, including elements of strength and power, muscular endurance, aerobic and lactic threshold, introducing HYROX specific skills, and agility.

  • Tuesday

    Engine

    Develops the ability to efficiently transition between endurance-based machines and functional strength exercises under load. Increases muscular strength, builds cardiovascular resilience, and enhances work-to-rest recovery rate.

  • Wednesday

    Power

    These sessions are centered around traditional strength training rather than skills and aerobic fitness. The program includes a variety of training formats such as AMRAPS, EMOMs, strength intervals, partner work, and volume training.

    Enhances aerobic capacity and the body’s ability to run and function under significant duress, also known as compromised running. Designed to increase stamina and prep for the specific demands found in a HYROX race.
